"Interesting prequel to space adventure series"
Freighter Captain Kelsey Ross has found herself in the
midst of political intrigue. Known as a friend to Delphi
station's homeless children, her attempt to protect a child
brings her to the attention of SAM's patrol and later
arrested and her ship impounded. When "dead" space pirate
Matt Kincaid is recruited by the children to save her, she
finds herself a fugitive on the run from those who used to
be her friends. An intriguing prequel to the Cirus Station Chronicles, the
characters are well defined and the plots and counter-plots
show a time of danger where you can never know who can be
trusted.
