"An exhilarating adventure tale"
While searching ancient ruins in Africa, twentieth century
French archeologist Odette St. Clair falls through a time
portal landing 65 million years before during the Jurassic
Period. American Aaron "Ron" Jamison trying to find her
follows her through the time portal. They share an
adventure, fall in love, and are married by the elderly
native Avo. Together, Odette and Ron seek the Ancient Ones, praying
that the technologically advanced race has the devices to
send them back to the future. However, the Ancient Ones
though immortal through genetics have met catastrophe due
to a deadly disease and are subsequently are forced out of
at least two cities. Traveling the Hite River surrounded
by danger from deadly flora and fauna, the time travelers
journey to the city of Florbust in hope of finding an
Ancient One. SAVAGE LAND OF JUR, sequel to the exciting JUR: A STORY OF
PREDAWN EARTH, is an exhilarating adventure tale that takes
the audience on a deep adventure through the Jurassic
Period. The story line is fast paced and loaded with non-
stop action whether it is surviving a storm raged river,
battling flesh eating plants, dueling a giant spider or
communicating with native populations. Ron and Odette
display their love for one another as both willingly risk
life to save their beloved from a precarious situation.
Though too many flashbacks to the first tale interferes
with the smoothness of the expedition, this is one trek
readers will want to join. Harriet Klausner
