"This book is a blast!"

I just finished BLUE-EYED BANDIT by Stobie Piel.  This book had me laughing out loud.

Darian Woodward was a hero in the Civil War but he was framed by a corrupt superior officer.  While remaining a gentleman, Capt. Woodward and his loyal men try to bring justice to their part of the wild west.  (By being such a gentleman, he makes some mistakes that give him the reputation of being a bandit.)

Emily Morgan is a bookseller who is swept back into the past in an effort save Darian Woodward from his fate.

Grab this book.  It is a blast!

SUMMARY

Sequel to FREE FALLING - Darian Woodward was last seen leading a mutiny against his cruel commander. He had changed, somewhat, from the young, honorable, blue-eyed Civil War hero, but his fate still looked promising. However, mutinies seldom go as planned, and within a few months, Darian and his loyal band of followers have been branded outlaws. As Darian seeks to restore his reputation and pursue justice, his name just keeps getting darker and darker to the inhabitants of 19th Century Arizona. So when Emily Morgan heads back in time to set him straight, she gets more than she bargained for - Darian intends to face down his enemy no matter what the history books say.

If Emily can fight her attraction to the unwittingly sexy desperado, she might just save his life. But neither his life, nor her resistance, seem all that likely to survive.
