"A story of an impossible love"

STRAY THOUGHTS was pure fantasy fun! Imagine letting in a stray cat one night and having your life be forever changed!

Sheridan Phillips was a lonely, isolated writer want-to-be who couldn't stand her daytime job at the office. At night, she comes home to her lonely apartment to write that hopeful bestseller, spending her nights and weekends alone. One evening she let in a beautiful stray cat that came scratching at her window. At once, she develops a strange connection to this cat with the piercing blue eyes and black silky fur. He seems to know her thoughts and acts as the perfect companion. Nick arrives outside her window every night after work and stays until morning, where he sits by the window to be let out for the day. He refuses to eat cat food, and loves to sit by the fire curled up by her side. Sheridan and her stray cat, Nick became inseparable.

Sheridan was happier than she had been in a long while, but there was a shadow on the horizon. A serial rapist was on the loose and no one was safe. There is also more to Nick than meets the eye. He's no ordinary cat and Sheridan soon becomes suspicious. However, before her thoughts make any rhyme or reason, Sheridan is attacked and faces the fight of her life. Although some parts of Sheridan's attack may be painful for some to read about, her recovery and healing are dealt with very well.

STRAY THOUGHTS is the story of an impossible love that I found quite entertaining and fascinating from beginning to end. A very unique story and one that I recommend if you want an original, exciting and mysteriously romantic read! Purrfectly divine to the end!

Sheridan Phillips has a dead end job, a boss "affectionately" known as the Prince of Darkness, a stack of rejection slips to compliment her would-be writing career, and a serial rapist preying on women in her neighborhood. Life, it seems, can't get much bleaker. One cold winter night, Sheridan takes in a stray cat and names the adorable little guy Nick. She loves the scruffy little thing to distraction but pretty soon things start getting weird... Who is this mysterious creature she's taken into her home, her life, and her bed? Whoever or whatever he is, she only hopes he can save her from the most terrifying danger a woman can face...and bring her the love she so desperately seeks.
