"A Sensual Historical Romance"
It's not a paranormal, but it is fantastic. The plot reads
like any other romance. An intelligent girl (Jessica)
tries to save her idiot brother from losing his fortune,
which has all come about because he likes hanging with a
notorious group of men that are led by the Marquess of
Dain. Dain ends up compromising Jessica, and although that
usually wouldn't bother him, he wants to keep her so they
marry. But, you've heard of sparkling dialogue? This book defines
it. And as far as deep characters go, Dain wins. He is
more completely defined in the prologue of this book than
most males are in entire romances. He is *the* hero with a
painful past. It's sexy too. Have you ever been turned on by a man
unbuttoning a glove? Whew, read this one and you will!
It's witty, funny, sad, sexy, sweet, and highly
recommended. Shelly Raines / January, 2000
