"Entertaining tale about a crime solving wizard"

I know this book has been mentioned before on some of the lists I'm on, but I had to let you all know what a great book it was!

I just finished Storm Front last night by Jim Butcher. I really enjoyed it - it reminded me a lot of that show CHARMED about the three witch sisters that each episode save humanity from some sort of demon with their powers. Anyhow, Storm Front felt a lot like that except the main character is a wizard named Harry who uses his unusual powers to help people and the police force solve "unusual" problems - he's a P.I.

It was very entertaining... I stayed up late last night to finish it, and when my hubby wanted to turn out the lights, I went to finish it in the bathroom!

Harry Dresden is the best at what he does. Well, technically, he's the only at what he does.
