"Another Example of the Author's Versatility"

Have you ever known what it was like to be lonely, to be alone, no friends, no one to love you? Lauren Fowler does. She has known that feeling her whole life. She has been picked on, laughed at and ridiculed all of her life. That is until Syntian Cree shows up. Somehow ever since he showed up at the bookstore she works at things have been happening.  Not all these things have been good. People that have been mean or cruel to Lauren in one way or another have been turning up either dead or in the hospital. Some crazed man has been attacking the women from the bookstore that Lauren works at, and no one has a clue to the man is. On the other hand people are starting to pay attention to Lauren. Her life seems to be changing for the better.

Lauren has no idea that Syntian is responsible for that change. She has no idea he is what is called a Nightwind. A demon from hell brought to earth through witchcraft. Generations past an ancestor of Lauren's summoned the Nightwind and made him sign a pact to protect her and hers. So through the years anytime one of the women in Lauren's family summoned him he came and did what he was commanded.

That is until Lauren's mother broke the pact. When that happened, Angeline a fourth cousin bound Syntian to her. Now although Syntian is in love with Lauren and still tied to her. He is must obey Angeline's every command. What she is commanding he do is not something her is happy about. Angeline is commanding his sexual skills in return for the permission to court Lauren. How can Syntian have a life and future with Lauren while still bound to Angeline? What happens when Lauren finds out what is really going on? What will she do? Will the future Syntian had planned for them be over? Will Lauren ever forgive Syntian for what he has done?

This book is just another example of Charlotte Boyett-Compo's versatility in her writing.

An Unholy Love

Evil has a new name: Syntian Cree.

Weaving a mesmerizing tale of witchcraft, revenge, and eroticism, NightWind will take you on a whirlwind journey into a lonely woman's heart and a demon's hellish passions.

NightWind lays bare the hidden desires of an abandoned woman's soul. For those women who have ever known the brutish sneer of a handsome man; the knowing smirk of a beautiful woman; the disdain of strangers or the disregard of family, this tantalizing tale of supernatural love and passion will have her cheering for Lauren Fowler and wishing for a visit from Syntian Cree.

But be careful what you wish for, dear one, for the NightWind is listening!
