"Lots of Fantasy with a little Romance and Science Fiction"
I just finished A DANGEROUS MAGIC, an anthology that
has stories by romance and science fiction writers. The
stories by the romance writers were great (though too short
). Susan Sizemore had a heroine who was the Angel of Death,
Deb Stover had a hero who was a faerie, Yvonne A. Jocks aka
Evelyn Vaughn had a ghost?, I think. I was a little
confused about who he really was but it was still very
good, Laura Hayden had a strange ghost-angel-possession
story , Roberta Gellis had a very unique story which
kept you guessing till the end. These were all very
enjoyable stories and had a romance. The science fiction
fantasy writer's novellas didn't all contain romance, and
except for 2 or 3 that were really far out, they were very
interesting. Actually only two of the stories had a romance. Kristin
Scwengel had
a fairy tale feel in her story of a heroine that would go
somewhere else while Dream stitching. I am happy to say
there was a romance started in the Michelle West's vampire
story. It was the longest story too, with about 73 pages.
