"extremely well done suspense romance"

Like its predecessor, DANGEROUS INTENTSIONS, the novel TREACHEROUS WISHES is an extremely well done suspense romance. The paranormal aspects from the first book are back in force since the heroine is Tammy Carter, who saw "colors" around people that indicated their moods and intentions. Tammy is the secretary for Taggart Security Team, where Kyle Hawthorne works as bodyguard. Both of these characters are strong and independent, and both have suffered losses in their family that have affected their ability to love and trust other people.

Tammy and Kyle learn to trust each other when Kyle takes on the role of Tammy's bodyguard after the man who killed her sister threatens her as well. The mutual attraction they have shared since the first book explodes in this one, until it's clear that they are truly made to love each other.

The plot was fast moving and well thought out. Ms. Agnew has a very nice feeling for places and people. Mrs. Taggart, head of the security firm is back, as is Joe, the homeless man who "smelled evil". And we have a new villain, Tammy's nemesis. Our trips inside this man's mind are very creepy.

TREACHEROUS WISHES is an excellent book and I highly recommend it. I read it together with DANGEROUS INTENTSIONS, but unlike many sequels isn't necessary to read that book first as this one stands nicely on its own.
