"God's curse or God's gifts? An enjoyable inspirational romantic comedy"
This Thanksgiving would be different for ER Nurse Sunny
Elders as it is the first since the death of both her
parents from cancer. She is joining her sister's family on
this cruise with the promise to watch the children with
hopes they can restore their relationships after the stress
of grief. Little did she expect to literally bump into
Texas rancher Dan Jarrett. Was he destined to be just a
friend-in-need or her soul mate? Dan's widowed mother married after a whirlwind courtship on
a cruise ship and at the insistence of her new husband,
they were celebrating the family holiday on a cruise hoping
to share the joy they experienced when they met a month
ago. Dan does not believe in love-at-first-sight;
so does not trust his stepfather. He has not been shy in
showing his displeasure. Adding to his frustration his
match-making sister and the accident prone Sunny. He is
sure it is God's curse, not God's gifts he is experiencing
this Thanksgiving. Dan's growly but affable personality looses its edge when
combined with Sunny's hilarious tendency to have unusual
things happen to her. You will find this a naturally
entertaining part of this story and not overwhelming
slapstick. IT HAD TO BE YOU is a G-rated romantic comedy
that provides an enjoyable reading experience. As with
most inspirational romances, there is a definite Christian
message to be found while reading, but it is presented in a
manner that does not detract from the tale of finding
