"warm, upbeat, and passionate story"
Marcie worried about her mother Liz Riley driving across
the country alone. Liz who spent two glorious weeks with
Marcie, her son-in-law, and her new grandson knows it is
time to let the trio bond into a family unit. In spite of
wanting to hold the new baby, Liz leaves on her cross-
country drive.
After a few days of nothing but the road, Liz stops at the
Victorian town of Coldwater Springs, Colorado. However,
while driving in the Rockies, her car skids off the road
during a torrential storm. Seeking help, she locates a
nearby cottage. When she enters, Liz is stunned because the
remote place seems more like a shrine than a home. Robert
had kept the cottage just the way his beloved deceased wife
Elise wanted it as her dying wish. However, Robert and Liz
begin to fall in love from the start, perhaps with some
otherworldly help from someone who only wanted her spouse
to find new happiness inside their cottage. ENCHANTED COTTAGE is an enchanting adult love story that
will magically seduce the audience into reading this tale
in one sitting. Marcie and Robert never expected love to
find them again, but as in a fairy tale, they do with each
other. The story line works because the two lead characters
seem genuine even as their emotions take charge of much of
their actions. Readers will feel blessed after perusing
Linda Bleser's warm, upbeat, and passionate story. Harriet Klausner / December 2000

When her car breaks down on a deserted mountain road, Liz
Riley discovers an enchanted cottage where time stands
still. She wakes up to find her youth restored, and her
passions ignited by the owner of the cottage--a man she
thinks is young enough to be her son. Only when she comes
to terms with the fact that age doesn't matter is the true
magic of the enchanted cottage revealed.
ENCHANTED COTTAGE is a story for women who may feel their
youth slipping away, but not their zest for life, their
taste for adventure, or their ability to recognize and
appreciate the power of love--at whatever stage it enters
their life.
