"nightmare or is it a glimpse of destiny?"
Is it just a nightmare or is it a glimpse of destiny? This
is the question Christiana Burns asks herself after months
of recurring dreams featuring a shadowy male figure that
she feels connected to. Christiana has realized that the
dreams are always a prelude to some minor disaster in her
life. Suddenly, the dreams escalate and she sees portions
of the man in her dreams clearly. The disasters become
progressively worse, as well until Christiana comes in
contact with the man from her dreams in reality, Jason
Raineagle. Jason is a pediatric doctor suffering from emotional and
physical burnout. He too is having dreams but his
emotional instability won't allow him to consider them for
what they may be, a portent of things to come. Christiana
knows Jason is in danger and she realizes SHE may well be
the danger. However, she is terribly drawn to Jason, as is
he to her. I became very entangled in the plight of these two lovers.
The love between them is very delicate and tinged with
anger and tragedy. I will tell you there is a happy ending
in this story but they definitely have to work for it. Ti Brown © Copyright 2002 for
