"Entertaining relationship drama"
In London wealthy heiress Diana Verity marries publisher
Ernie Foxton, though he has an underhanded reputation
within the industry and amidst the ladies. To Ernie, Diana
is the perfect trophy wife when he relocates to New York to
take over Blakeley's Publishing House and turn it into a
global giant. To Diana, Ernie is her ticket to an exciting
youthful world as a major Big Apple hostess. In Brooklyn, Michael Cicero is making a success out of
Green Eggs Books by reissuing out of print classic
children's stories. However, Ernie wants control of Green
Eggs and ruthlessly succeeds in his endeavor. At the same
time, Diana catches Ernie in their bed in an S & M
relationship with his mistress. Ernie destroys Diana in
the subsequent divorce leading to her friends dropping her
like she is contagious. This leads to Michael and Diana
forming a partnership whose prime objective is to
decapitate Ernie, but grows into something much more
positive between them. FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS is an entertaining relationship
drama that focuses on the lifestyles of the rich and
famous. The key to the tale that makes Louise Bagshawe's
novel different is that the author leaves no doubt that the
residents of the world of glitter contain character flaws,
some very ugly. Though how much shopping can ornaments do
will leave even shopaholics tired though the story line
will prove fun for fans of Jackie Collins' HOLLYWOOD WIVES. Harriet Klausner
