"Two find peace and love in each other's arms"
Livia isn't the type of woman to take her husband's money
and leave him in peace as he wants so he can wallow in self-
pity. Neither is she the type of woman to let a man control
her future. So she does what any 'want-to-rule-ones-own-
life' woman does; she finds a man to take her virginity to
get out of an arranged marriage. Adron Quiakides only wants to wait till death finds him --
not be redeemed by a beautiful angel who walks into a
tavern and into his life one night. The two find peace and love in each other's arms. They
fight against their demons, both internal and man that
would like to break them apart. Adron saves Livia from a
hell marriage and Livia saves Adron's very life. I was disappointed I could not read the original that was
more detailed but I was not disappointed by the version I
did read. Sherrilyn sure knows how to melt hearts and make
you cry for cry I did while reading their heart-wrenching
tale of love and saving. If only there could have been more
of the book, I loved it so. Sherrilyn gets a great hug of
gratitude from me for this book. Please keep it up. Jessica Holmes © Copyright February 2002
