"Adron fights his disabilities; Livia her fears on journey to find love"
This is the sequel to BORN IN THE NIGHT. Adron is the oldest son of the characters in Born of the
Night. He is sitting in a bar, drinking away his blues.
Not interested in any sort of companionship. He is in pain
and is not in the mood for anything but getting as drunk as
possible. Livia is looking to lose her virginity. Fast. Her father
plans to marry her off to a man who is so old that he is
decades older than her father, but the man only wants a
virgin. She vows to get rid of it and consequently become
unacceptable to the man. She knows her father will most
likely beat her, it is an acceptable form of punishment in
her race of peoples, but is willing to risk it. As Livia enters the bar that her maid had told her of, she
rethinks her qualifications for the one who is going to rid
her of her virginity. That he must bathe regularly and have
his own teeth were just a couple of the new guidelines. Before she can get a good look around the bar, she notices
her father's aide. She hides from the incoming guards that
her father had sent by sitting with Adron. So the guards
don't recognize her, she kisses him. Adron gets lost in
the kiss and rethinks his own ideas for the evening and
takes her to his apartment. Each not knowing whom the other is causes multitudes of
problems, and they end up married. Join them as Adron
fights his disabilities, and Livia her own fears. The
story is short, but well written and will keep the readers
interest. I liked this story, and recommend it to others. Brenda Reece © Copyright 2002 for ParaNormal Romance
