"Murder, Mystery, a ghost and a handsome cowboy...A time travel adventure you\'ll not forget."
Recently divorced, Lisa Welsh books a room at a hotel in
Salado, Texas just to get away from everything back home.
She wakes from a nightmare to find a cowboy in her bed. To
make matters worse she realizes she somehow traveled back
in time to 19th century Salado and everyone believes she is
a woman named Josephine Rogers. Only Josephine is supposed
to be dead. Jack Stanton doesn't understand why the clerk at the hotel
would give him a room that is already occupied. The woman
looks like Josephine, but she doesn't act like her. This
intrigues Jack enough to keep an eye on her. An amethyst necklace seems to be the clue to Lisa's time
travel adventure. It should be simple to return to where
she belongs, but not only does a ghost not want her to
leave 19th century Salado, danger awaits her in the 21st
century. And what is she suppose to do with Jack when her
heart tells her she belongs with him? It seems no matter what century Lisa is in someone wants
her dead, but Jack is determined not to let this happen. Murder, mystery, a ghost and handsome cowboy—what more can
you ask for in a time travel adventure that keeps you on
the edge of you seat. As the mystery unravels, you'll be
rooting for Jack and Lisa to find a way for their love to
last across time. Reviewed by: Karen Michelle Nutt, author of the Warriors for
