"Wonderful continuation of the Raven\'s Realm Series!"
Now that Eli has managed to find his other half and split
his magic, one would hope everything would be fine with
him. Unfortunately, it's not. Eli finally felt at home in
Canada with his relatives there. When they left, Eli became
a bit on the depressed side. As if that wasn't bad enough,
one of his Guardians, Aaliyah decided they should move to
London so Eli can go to school like a normal child. That's
exactly what's causing Eli's depression now—he is not, nor
has he ever been normal. Not only is he going through all
the usual teenage trauma, but he's got his magic to deal
with as well. And he absolutely hates London and the
school. He's even giving his other Guardian, Selena, fits
with his rebellious behavior. Totally miserable, Eli is not
immune to the beauty of Dominique—a woman from Raven's
past. And when Dominique offers to make Eli a normal
teenager, Eli is just about ready to agree. Not that
Dominique gives up. She keeps finding him and fighting with
him, eventually managing to capture him. Turns out she's
much stronger than Eli, even with Raven's help. Now that Dominique has captured Eli, she plans on releasing
Chaos—a major demon—into the world using Eli's body as a
vessel for Chaos. Will Eli's friends, family and guardians
be able to save him from Dominique? Will they be able to
stop Dominique's evil plans? WINDOWS TO THE SOUL RAVEN'S REALM BOOK 2 is a quick-moving
continuation of Eli's story. M.J. Spickett weaves a tale of
two people—Raven and Eli. We learn more about Raven in this
story, as well as about his Guardians, but never too much
to become bogged down. I love all the different subplots in
this story too. Never overwhelming, but enough to keep even
the most discerning reader happy. However, I wouldn't
recommend reading this one before the first as you would
quickly become lost without having been introduced to all
the characters involved. As with the first, I highly
recommend the RAVEN'S REALM SERIES.

Life is not easy for any teenager, but for seventeen year old Elijah Hawke it is an utter nightmare. Born with unfathomable magickal powers, Eli is trying to cope with the loss of half his gifts and desperately wishes to be like a normal teen. Frustrated with his life he accepts a deal with a strange Priestess who seems to know more about him and his past life than even his Watcher does. But it is a deal that may very well cost him his life when the Priestess tries to use him to call forth the Chaos demon. It’s up to Eli’s faery Guardian, Selena Hawke, to find a way to rescue her wayward charge and show him the importance of the people he has taken for granted, including himself. Ultimate power lies in the hands of a teenage boy, and every sorcerer in the world is after him.
