"a true page-turner"
Kera Zoe has heard about the Compound her whole life. She

and leave the town, not knowing or caring what happens to
them. Kera never thought her own father would sell her
though, even if they were poor themselves. That is until
two men approach her at a library where she was studying.
The men are from the Compound and they escort her to her
new home. Labled a runaway, she is to be guarded at all
times. At least until she can find a husband or become
property of the Compound itself at her twenty second
birthday. Can Kera find a way out of the mess her father
has put her in or will she have to learn the ways of a Wife? Devon Noved is known as a playboy. He and his friends have
done just about anything and everything, including using
the girls of the Compound when needed. That is until he is
knocked down by Kera. The moment that happens Devon knows
his whole life is about to change. After finding out
everything he can about Kera, Devon puts his plan in
action. Will said plan backfire into his face or will he
convince Kera that she belongs in his world and is the one
for him? Jaden Sinclair really draws her reader into the lives of
Kera and Devon, as well as those around them. The reader
will learn the ins and outs of the Compound and feel for
the girls there as well as enjoy Kera's flight or fight
attitude. They will enjoy the hot, steamy sex scenes and
will really fall into the story as they read more and more
of Devon and Kera's fight to stay together. Kera fighting
her feelings for Devon and Devon fighting to keep Kera in
his life and bed. Truly a wonderful book on a lonely night
when you want a true page-turner in a story.
