"A sizzling summer read"
Sara in engaged to a man whom she does not love. She agreed
to the marriage because the main thing Sara wants in life
is a family of her own, and at thirty-two she is not
getting any younger. One night Sara gets a ghostly visit
from her grandmother that leaves Sara with a special gift
she does not know how to use, or even truly believes in.
After the death of her grandmother, Sara, her Fiancé, and
her mother head to her grandmother's private island to hear
her grandmother's will. While Sara is staying at this
beautiful, remote island she meets the man of her dreams.
She must figure out how to use the magic her grandmother
left her or lose the love of her life forever. THE MAGIC IN HER GIFT was an enjoyable book that could be
easily read in a single afternoon. Missy Martine does an
excellent job in capturing the romance between Meloir and
Sara by providing the reader with many erotic love scenes.
It makes the reader crave the type of romance these two
lovers share. I only have one complaint and that is that
it was too short. I wanted more. The story line, and
writing itself, had potential to be a longer read with many
more details. I would have liked to of read more into how
Sara and Bert's relationship came about, as well as Sara's
adventure on the island. Overall, the swift pace of this book kept my attention from
the very beginning to the very end. This book is perfect
for someone who is looking for something short enough for a
weekend and sizzling in the romance category.
