"Sexy & Unlikely Beta Wolf Romance"
Robert is the Beta of the Vasi werewolf pack and is in
charge while the Alpha is on his honeymoon. Robert is not
fond of being the Beta and would rather be back with his
computers and watching Star Trek than leading the pack,
especially when the pack is trying to reform and weed out
all the troublemakers left over from the previous Alpha's
pack. Along with the help of their vampire advisor Dadelus,
the pack is doing well, until Esther comes. Esther is a
vampire slayer who has been given a contract to kill
Dadelus. While following Dadelus, she comes across Robert.
Robert and Esther's first meeting is dangerous and sexy,
both are unexpectedly drawn to each other and let their
emotional guards down. But they will have to be strong, for
themselves and each other, if they are to overcome a danger
that is threatening the pack and is deciding to take
advantage of the Alpha being away. This is a short read, I read it in a couple hours. This is
part 3 of a series. There is mention of incidents that
happened in the previous books, but The Beta could
be read by itself. I liked the story and the characters,
Esther is a tough slayer and Robert is a very unlikely
Beta, and they seem perfect for each other. I definitely
will check out the previous 2 stories in this series to see
what happened before. Also, there is a little open ending
to this story and a couple questions unanswered, so I am
eagerly awaiting the next book.

| SUMMARY |
|
Three days of hell, in charge, and running out of antacids. As the pack’s Beta, Robert needs to watch over the Vasi werewolf pack for a few days. He hates the responsibility, but his job is to dissolve any problems while his alpha honeymoons. Nevertheless, trouble comes to town and her name is Esther. She\'s beguiling, beautiful and picks his pocket. Although Robert doesn’t trust her, he still wants to possess her. Esther arrived in Chicago with the intention of slaying a vampire named Daedalus. While trailing her quarry, she encounters Robert who unhinges her world. He doesn’t know her trade, and she doesn’t know his connection to the vampire. Disturbed by her attraction to this unusual werewolf, she can’t decide which prey to hunt. The one who’s stolen her heart or the one who’ll fill her bank account. Hot graphic werewolf sex, growing body parts, and one pissed off Nosferatu.
