"Hot Romance with Psychic alien cop"
Synopsis: Sharon Glaston was a librarian, her life was just
the way she wanted it - quiet and un-adventurous, but all
that was about to change. Eleven years ago, Earth's new allies the Shimerians were
short of women. In exchange for new technology a register
of women who would be willing to be matched with Shimerian
males was created. In a fit of patriotism after hearing the
recruitment speeches, 18 year-old Sharon had joined. Now
Liken has arrived to claim her and he wasn't taking no for
an answer, but then, it's difficult to say no to a man who
can read every desire and fantasy your mind broadcasts -
especially when he is determined to use them all. Sharon and Liken were very appealing as were the secondary
characters. I particularly liked the fact that holograms
were used instead of mirrors in Shimeria; it put an
interesting variation on the 'making love in front of a
mirror' scene. The story moved along at a good pace and by
the time I finished I really wanted to read the next one in
the series. I suspect that the next book will feature
Liken's brother Tair but I hope we will hear his friend
Jadik's story after that. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys their
romance hot. A 6'7" psychic alien cop with black hair and
piercing blue eyes who wants to make all your fantasies
