Recovery by Alexandrea Weis is the second novel in
the wildly sexy series featuring the perplexing Nicci

David Alexander. While promoting her book in the Big Apple,

events that rocks Nicci's world. Alexandrea Weis has written an unbelievably captivating
mystery romance that strings along so much suspense you
cannot put the novel down. She brings the characters on the
page to life and makes you feel like you personally know
them. For me, this was my first time reading a novel by Ms.
Weis and I will definitely want to read more from her. I
started off reading the second book in the series and
realized I had missed the first, which was a little
saddening after how great the second one was. Everything
was described perfectly, and the plot flowed really well.
Nicci is the kind of woman we all have inside us; strong
minded, snappy, and hungry for peace in our crazy lives. I
seem to have fallen for Dallas. He's that arrogant jerk who
knows what he wants and charms not just with his handsome
looks but his smile as well, and definitely gives Nicci a
run for her money. It was amazing how the two of them never
got along yet clicked so well in the story. I loved reading
about her family and all the crazy personalities, and Val
is a 'to die for' character. The whole novel is filled with
so much suspense you can't put it down, not to mention the
feeling you get when you are just waiting to see Nicci and
Dallas get together; it drove me insane but it the most
wonderful way. Romantic suspense and a great plot is what
this book is all about; hold onto your socks, John Grisham
and Charlene Harris. To be honest I give this book as many stars as there are in
the night sky and recommend this book a thousand times
over. Alexandrea should be up there with the big name
authors and this series should be on the New York Times
bestseller list. Can't wait to read more from Ms. Weis! Reviewed by:
