"Sometimes a Little Bit of Darkness is Just What a Girl Needs"
The Truth About Vampires is a superbly written
novel. The storyline is so enthralling it literally kept me
up most of the night reading. This is a story of what a
woman is willing to go to in order to make her father
proud, and to find that one scoop that will set her apart
from all of her male coworkers that her editor seems to
prefer. Kristin delves into a world that is masking a
serial killer but what she finds is so much more. When
Dmitri finds her in his club asking questions that could
lead to danger he has but one choice in his mind, tell her
the truth about his people and then keep her close as she
is his. As their carefully devised plan blows up around
them they have no choice but to depend on each other and
fight for survival until they defeat the killer or die
trying. I loved this book. It was absolutely incredible from page
one and it has one of the HOTTEST non-sexual love scenes I
have read in a very long time. Theresa Meyers uses such
vivid descriptions you can feel what Kristin and Dmitri are
feeling. She makes the scenes jump from the page and I
found myself getting lost in story, not even noticing how
much time had passed. This is definitely a dark romance I
can sink my teeth into. Reviewed by: Mindi Ferrari, author
