"very entertaining paranormal romance"
Centuries ago, Alejandro was a novice Guardian and Irena
was his instructor. They grew close and there was a
promise of a deep, long-lasting relationship until a
bargain with a demon tore them apart. Now that Alejandro
and Irena are forced to work together, will they be able to
overcome their differences and be together? DEMON FORGED is a very entertaining paranormal romance,
which left this reader emotionally drained-- but in a good
way. The characters are multi-faceted, the plot is action-
packed, and the ending brought a tear to my eye. Irena is
a straight-forward, no-nonsense, kind of Guardian--she sees
mostly black and white. Whereas, Alejandro is more
diplomatic, because he can see the gray areas in life, and
that everything is not as clear-cut as it might first
appear. Irena and Alejandro have to work through the
emotions and turmoil caused by the demon, as well as,
forgive themselves and each other in order to be together.
Many of the characters from previous stories make an
appearance in this one, and one, in particular, makes a
heartbreaking, self-sacrificing decision. Needless to say,
I'm on pins and needles to read the next book.
