Always feeling like an outsider, Nexi Jones could not find
the will to live after losing her adoptive parents to a car
accident. As she waits for death, it is not heaven that
awaits her, but another world, The Otherworld. There she
meets a family she never knew she had, new friends and a
past heritage that is too unbelieveable to accept. But
accept she must, for she is a guardian/part witch. And she
has been brought home to finally take her place in this
frightening new world. Where monsters are real and she is
the one who slays them. I was blown away! Love, love this fiesty, sassy and
downright fun character that is Nexi! Ms. Kennedy has done
an excellent job of creating a world that is vivid, fun and
sexy. The chemistry between Nexi and Kyden is hot and had
me rooting for them from the beginning. Kyden is the
perfect man for Nexi, strong when he needs to be and giving
other times. Very well matched. I very much enjoyed The
Willow and look forward to reading The Wicked!! Stacey
Kennedy has become an author I will look for!!
