I rarely get to say that I was moved to tears but Sophie
Oak did so with Away From Me. I stumbled across her
books as a suggestion from a friend, I purchased a couple
at random and from page one of this story I was hooked.
Gaby was the picture perfect sub for Cal. She obeyed
perfectly and never asked for anything in return, until one
night; one question changed this couple's relationship
forever. After being separated for ten long months they
stumble across each other and slowly their walls come
Gaby is holding a secret so close to her heart that at one
point she does something I personally have never read in a
book before. While this may not be the hottest book I have
ever read, it is one of the most deeply moving love stories
I have ever read. The subject matter talked about in this
book is so deeply personal to me that I can't find the
words to truly describe how much it moved me.
