"Your Destiny Will Always Find You"
After coming home late one night Shannon always thought
about how spooky it was at night. When the sun's comforting
ray's set, there is a whole new world in the dark. She has
always sensed something was always waiting out there for
her. Her home was set back off of the road, a rural place
all of her own, and with the nearest neighbor nearly a mile
away, it was easy to see shadows everywhere. She loved her
quite private place. However as her car died at the end of
her long drive, she was not feeling so much love. Gathering
her courage she begins her long trek down her driveway,
trying not to let her imagination run wild. But as she is
halfway, the shadows move, and reveal themselves. Wolves,
always heard but not seen, are everywhere. And when one of
them comes up to her, and transforms into a man. Shannon is
thrust into a world she never knew about, but is a part of. Almost Home was a very well written, thought out story of a
woman who always knew there was more out there, waiting for
her. With attention to detail Ms. Steele made me feel right
along with Shannon. I felt her fear of the unknown and her
joy of discovery, and her passion for a strong sexy man.
Well done on a novella that will have paranormal fans
coming back for more.
