"The Thrilling first book in the Ra's Chosen Series"
Mehen is one of Ra's Chosen warriors. He is duty bound to
fight the Demon Kind, who collect the souls of the living
to give to their demon god master, Apep. As the leader,
Mehen has always done his duty to protect the humans, but
he never expected to meet his match in a lovely woman who
he saved from three undead. When he couldn't wipe her
memory clean of their encounter, he takes her back to
headquarters to see if another warrior can do what he could
not. Blythe sets him afire as no other has before, with
danger closing in, he will stop at nothing to protect what
is his! Waiting for a taxi late one night, Blythe Ashton is
attacked by three men who look at her with death in their
eyes, and smile at her with long pointy teeth. When she is
rescued by a tall dark stranger, with just as sharp teeth,
Blythe has no idea if she has been saved only to find
herself with another kind of monster. Never has Blythe
felt such longing for a man, and never has one drove her as
crazy as Mehen. When she is introduced to his world, and
his fellow warriors, Blythe finds a place to finally fit
in. But Mehen is not the only one who wants Blythe, and
this dark force will stop at nothing to have her. Ms. Chenery does an excellent job of introducing us to the
world of Ra and his very sexy warriors. I love series, and
this is promising to be a very addictive one! The
characters are fun, sexy and downright alpha male. I really
liked Mehen and Blythe as a couple. As the leader, Mehen
is used to having what he says as law, and he is not used
to someone telling him no! Love how Blythe is not afraid to
stand up for herself and make Mehen see her way. The sex
scenes are hot, hot, hot!! With the backup characters
introduced for future books, I fell in love with all of the
guys! But I must say that Taken, I cannot wait for his
story! If you like hot alpha men, strong female leads, and
a well told story then Soul Hunger will not
disappoint. Book two, Mate Hunger tells Set's story. Book three Longed
for Hunger is Denger story. Book four, Embrace the Hunger
is Akori's story; all out now!

Something about the woman stirs him, and he’s consumed by his need not only for her body, but also her blood. Blythe may have been saved by the mysterious man, but her reaction to the feel of his arms around her and the way his eyes wander to her neck don’t make her feel much safer. When she’s taken to his headquarters against her will, she finds herself a prisoner. But when he unleashes passion unlike any she’s ever known, she realizes she’ll do anything to stay imprisoned. But Blythe is not who she seems. And Mehen finds himself in the fight of his life to save the woman he loves from the evil that yearns to possess her.
