This book puts a whole new spin on dream men! Juliette is a
stubborn, beautiful woman well before her time. She dreams
of a more fulfilling life than her Traditionalist family
wants her to embrace. After gaining acceptance to Vampira
she begins what she believes to be the life that she wants,
that free of traditional rules and arranged marriages as a
human. Modern day Julie is a successful business woman who owns
and runs an erotic chocolate shop. She hires Caleb and
Zander Davenport to help her create her molds for her
unique chocolates. These two men are invading her dreams
and making her reconsider her 'no man' pledge she gave to
the Vampira. After a gift of chocolate everything changes,
these midnight fantasies make Julie want to bring her dream
men into reality. Sweet Heat is a fantastic read of love versus
loyalty, and proves true love can be found at first sight
or bite, however the case may be. Jan Springer does a
superb job of mixing both the past and the present, which
leads to a deeper understanding of Julie's way of being and
ability to pass herself off as a human. Reading this book
definitely gave me a whole new desire for chocolate!
