Having had a relationship in the past, Victoria still lusts
for her boss, Cameron. Unfortunately, she also fantasizes
about Cameron's friend Duncan. When Cameron invites
Victoria to a party as his date, she accepts uneasily. But,
Cameron uses the date as a way to seduce Victoria into being
his mate as well as playing out her dark fantasies. Wow, this short story packs some heat! I'm glad that
Victoria and Cameron have a past, which is the perfect setup
for a story of this length. Duncan's involvement is a bit
strange, but I am under the impression that his presence is
necessary for the mating ritual. I found the paranormal elements of this story odd because
the first half of the story felt like a contemporary erotic
romance whereas the last half felt like a werewolf
paranormal. Therefore, I felt as if the story was not long
enough to fully explain the paranormal aspect, which felt
forced to fit into the plot. Overall, The One for Me is a short and hot erotic story that
is the perfect length to read on your lunch break.
