"An Exciting New Urban Fantasy Series"
Allay is a human-demon hybrid, the only one alive, who feeds
off of emotions of others. For almost a decade now she has
feeding such hungers by working in a bar as the manager of
The Den on C. Allay has been able to feed freely on her
particular elixir of respite: relief from sorrow and pain.
And believe there is plenty of that in a bar! So she serves
up patrons with drinks and lends an ear as she feeds just a
sip off of their emotions. Minding her own business has
worked for her for a decade , until the day she is attacked
by a another demon and is rescued by a human named Theo Ram.
He is unlike any man she has ever met, and their attraction
is instant and sets her on fire. With demon clans rising up
to fight for power in the demon community Allay has a some
choices to make, either she can pick a side, or she can
stand up for herself and her newfound love. Confessions of a Demon is the first book of S.L. Wright's
new urban fantasy series. We are introduced to Allay, a
half demon, trying to survive in a demon-eat-demon world.
With just a few friends and her work, Allay was content
until Ram came into her life and changed everything. I
really enjoyed her reluctant romance with Ram. Wanting him
like she has never wanted anything more, but yet not wanting
to protect him. With colorful friends and great bad guys,
you have a well written new series that I look forward to
reading more of!! Be sure to look for book two Demon
Revelation coming Fall 2010!!
