"Great start for a debut author!!! Love does happen more than once."
Paula Winters does not have time to take a cruise, but
thanks to her meddling daughters that is exactly where she
is. With only weeks left before her deadline on finishing
her newest book she needs to concentrate on 'not' looking
for a man. Especially after losing her husband several
years before, who wants that kind of heartache twice in
their lives. Derek Rawlins has work to do, but when his son insisted he
meet other people he had no choice but go on the cruise his
son set him up for. He was not ready to date again after
losing his wife, getting close to someone again just to
lose them was too painful. While working, Paula and Derek meet by accident on the ship
and are drawn to one another from the very beginning.
Deciding to take time to see the sights and spend some time
getting to know one another, they begin to wonder if
falling in love can happen again. Unknown to either of
them is what their children are up to; making sure they
fall in love. Debut author Franny Armstrong has written a wonderful story
about a couple who are more mature than most and who have
gone through heartbreaks that would scare anyone off ever
finding love again. Loved the chemistry between Paula and
Derek, and you can almost feel the emotions coming off the
pages. Great start for this new author.
