"Highly recommended sexy, sci-fi romance"
At twenty-one, Ceta was picked to be an honored Schedir
candidate, that is, possibly chosen by the Sovereign. Each
year one woman is chosen by the Sovereign, taken to his
ship, and never seen again. No one knows what happens to
these women, but the honor of being chosen out-weighs the
unknown. Therefore, Ceta is presented to the ultra-sexy
Paladin, Iason, who chooses the women each year and is
untouchable. She is chosen, taken by Iason, and a
supernatural force decides that Ceta and Iason are to be
together. Their passion is intense, but could destroy them
both. Chosen One is a terrific short story. There is a
definitive, and interesting plot, which adds a bit of
mystery. The characters are described enough that they are
not two-dimensional. Also, emotions run high, even in a
short period of time, and the romance is incredibly hot. I enjoyed the world that the author built and am sad that
the story ended so quickly. Although Chosen One is
the perfect length to tell its story, I am curious to know
if there will be other stories set in the same world. I highly recommend Chosen One, especially for those
that are in the mood for an erotic, sci-fi romance.
