"Another great tale with a wonderful cast of characters"
Charisma Snow is on the run from a ruthless man who wants
to use her talent as a siren for his own benefit. Now she
is also wanted for murder. When a stranger helps her
escape she finds herself drawn to him and feeling things
she has never felt before. Kadian James is a were-dragon who is drawn in by a siren's
song, he has found his mate. Now he has to show her what
it is like to be loved as well as protect her from the
people who want to take her away from him. When Charisma is taken away from Kadian, the dragon in him
emerges to fight against their enemy to try to get her
back. Will he get to her in time to save her or will he
lose his mate forever? Kadian first made his appearance in Wendy Stone's A Strange
New Breed and I was excited to see he got his own story.
With his sense of humor and his deep emotion you can't help
but fall in love with him, plus he is a dragon, who doesn't
love dragons. Charisma has had a very sheltered life
living on the streets, so she has no idea what it is to be
in love or have anyone to love her. It was also wonderful
to have Pick of the Litter's Lukah and Marrisa, and from A
Strange New Breed's Nashe and Terry in the book as well.
Can't wait to see what Wendy Stone brings us next.
