"An explosion of heat in the bayou"
Andre' Deveraux needs to find his own path in life. His
brothers have found their loves and he feels like he's
missing something in his life. He had his great love, and
the pain he has from its loss could still be felt. When he
finds her at an airport, he's determined to do everything
in his power to keep her with him, despite the fact that
she hates him. Juliette Vassar walked away from Deveraux once because she
was convinced he harmed a member of her family. It's just
her luck that she's stuck taking a ride with him to avoid a
hurricane when all the rental cars were booked. She didn't
want to feel an attraction to Andre', but couldn't seem to
help herself. Ms. Blake has done a wonderful job, once again showing the
desire between her characters. The heat is so intense that
it positively explodes. As the fourth installment of
her 'Stormy Weather' series, she makes me wish I could find
a Cajun werewolf all of my own. Having read all in the
series thus far, this one is the best yet. The level of
emotion has grown over the series and she nails it with
Juliette and Andre.
