"...a book I couldn't put down"
Sophie is beautiful, clever and has a successful career.
She also has a gorgeous wealthy boyfriend but there is one
thing that doesn't really fit into her life. You see Sophie
is a werewolf. A hairy, shave your legs twice a day,
howling at the moon werewolf. Her mother has done a great job bringing up Sophie, has
supported her completely and even paid for all those razors
she needed while growing up. So when Sophie's father turns
up she isn't the least bit interested in meeting him. Why
should she want to meet a man she has never seen and
abandoned her and her mum when she was only a baby? Then her father, Luc, gets accused of murder by the Houston
pack. Locked up and no chance of a fair trial, Sophie feels
she needs to do something to help him. Even with some
unexpected help from a few people she didn't think would
get involved and the offer of assistance from a demon. The
odds are not looking good for her father and if certain
people of the werewolf community have their way, things
won't be good for Sophie either. The third book in the Tales of an Urban Werewolf series was
just as good as the previous two books. With the feisty,
independent and growling Sophie taking the lead the reader
is in good hands all the way through the book. Some new
revelations, expansion on the werewolf community and some
big life changes see Sophie through this new story. Which
all added up to making this a book I couldn't put down. This is definitely one of my favourite werewolf series and
I am hoping there will be more. I don't want to give
anything away but I can tell you that I really need to know
what happens next. Anyone else reading this will also be
left wanting to know how things will develop. After all the
title says it all. If you haven't already met Sophie before then get to know
her in 'Howling at the Moon' and then move on to 'On the
Prowl' before starting this third book.
