"Wonderful story of love and sacrafice"
Lia is the next leader of her vampire community so she must
do what her father has planned for her, a marriage to a man
she has no feelings for. When attempts on her life have
been made she is placed under the care of one of her
father's guards. Jericho just wants to finish his term in the Lugh's
military and go home and live the rest of his life in
peace. But when he is put on guard duty over the prima
lux, Lia, he finds himself not only her guard but something
more. Going against the vampire law that a vampire and werewolf
cannot be together and would result in death, Jericho and
Lia try to find a way. Dee Carney has brought us a look at two people, one a
princess to the vampire community and the other a werewolf
who is considered nothing more than a servent. They are
from two different worlds but manage to overcome every
obstacle in their way to fight for what they want, each
other. A strong story of love and sacrifice, I truly
enjoyed this book.
