"A powerful paranormal with romance and mystery to solve"
Tessa Anderson is a wildlife photographer with an obsession
with wolves, and her life is about to become very
complicated. Her curiosity with wolves has a lupus garou
(werewolf) interested in her. Her brother is convicted of a
murder he didn't commit and a naked man washed up on her
beach in need of help since he can't remember who he is. Hunter Greymore is a lupus garou who recently made his home
at his Uncle Basil's Cabin. He has his hands full with his
sister Meara, who is bound and determined to cause trouble
if her brother doesn't find her a mate. He also has to
worry about his neighbor, Tessa Anderson, who is a human
and obsessed with wolves. It's forbidden for humans to know
of their existence. If they find out, they must be killed
or changed, neither one a good prospect in Hunter's mind.
When Hunter is attacked he ends up on Tessa's beach injured
and with his memory in shambles, other than he knows he's
not human. He promises to help Tessa free her brother and
find the true murderer, while he does a little
investigating of his own to find out who attacked him and
why. His attraction to Tessa isn't supposed to be, but the
chemistry is there and Hunter will have to make a decision
before it's too late. This tale has more twists and turns with every page. Not
only is there a mystery of who the real murderer is, there
is also a mystery surrounding Tessa and her brother's life
that dates back more than a century. Ms. Spear writes a powerful paranormal with romances
aplenty, suspense and mystery thrown together into one
exciting plot. To Tempt the Wolf is the third book in the series,
but each book stands alone. I recommend you read Heart of
the Wolf and Destiny of the Wolf, books one and two in the
Werewolf series. Reviewed by: Karen
