contracted weekend is over? Research Only is a short, fun romp in the bedsheets,
though here, we are given a nice backdrop of an island in
the South Pacific. For the past ten years or so, Aimee has unselfishly given
of herself to take care of an ailing mother and brother,
and her three nephews and nieces, but with Darius and
Yusuf, she discovers that she's just a woman with needs
that they can satisfy, but first, she has to get over her
insecurities and try to see herself through their eyes.
Aimee's growth throughout the story is interesting to
watch, especially when she gains confidence from the
knowledge that two very attractive men wanted her. As for Darius and Yusuf, I didn't see it coming. From the
blurb, I know it's going to be a threesome, but I didn't
expect the m/m combination, and nothing in the two men's
interaction led me to believe otherwise. Hence, I find it
hard to believe that the two men could be friends for so
long (twenty years or so) without feeling even a spark,
would suddenly have the hots for each other. Especially
Yusuf, who I believe has ever only been with women. That said, I enjoyed the story and the sizzling chemistry
between the characters. This is book 4 in the Executive
Decisions series, and it is not necessary to have read the
previous books in order to enjoy this one.
