"A worthy addition to the paranormal genre!"
Gillian Priest, a corrections officer, is assigned to her
new prison job after three weeks' medical leave, determined
to do better in her new job. Yet, soon, she finds herself
having sex with the new prisoner in her dreams. At the same
time, she is attracted to fellow officer, Billy Hedron. Gabriel Vlahos enters the prison disguised as a prisoner to
investigate some strange things that had been happening
wherein he suspected a demon is involved, and he is pleased
to find the lovely Gillian installed in the area to assuage
his needs. Billy Hedron serves as Gabriel's back-up both in
the investigation and in Gillian's bed. When events start
to escalate out of control, Billy will fight everything and
everyone to keep Gillian safe. Fantastic story! Full of hot, sizzling tension in more ways
than one. I like the prison setting, something we don't see that
often, and the interplay between the three main characters
is fascinating, especially the relationship between Billy
and Gabriel. The story hinted that they had worked together
in the past, and the way the story ended made me wonder if
we would see more working and relationship dynamics from
these three characters. I feel though that the demon angle hadn't been addressed to
my satisfaction, but even so, this didn't detract from my
enjoyment of the story.
