Avani first laid eyes on Rais, a handsome soldier her uncle
had brought home for the first time just after her twelfth
birthday. In her uncle's home Rais hadn't been royalty.
He'd been one of her uncle's men, the latest in a line of
rugged soldiers who owed her uncle their obedience. After
his service, he is destined to mate and ascend to the
throne. The last time she had seen Rais, she was sixteen
and a child. A child no more, she serves as a novice in the
Temple of Luna. When Rais sees Avani in the temple, he is
reminded she is not the innocent girl he remembers who was
off limits. He sees a beautiful young woman, who he desires
no like other. This is book one of the Temple of Luna Series, and if the
rest are going to be anything like the first, I am hooked!
Avani and Rais share a passion that is all consuming and
possessive. Book One sets up the rest of the series very
well. I am interested to see where the authors go next in
this exciting new series. Very satisfying and a fun read!!
