"masterfully written"
Ivory Malinov is alone in the world. Having lost her
parents and being betrayed by her brothers, her only
companions are the wolves. She has survived for centuries
alone and wary of other people -- even her own kind. Bound
and determined to rid the world of those Carpathians who
have turned vampire, Ivory has spent her time honing both
her magic and fighting skills to the point of becoming a
legend amongst those she hunts. Razvan has been branded a traitor to his own people. An
extremely powerful and rare Dragonseeker from one of the
most prestigious Carpathian families, he has spent his life
in captivity serving Xavier -- a mage who seeks to destroy
all Carpathians. After finally escaping from his
centuries of torment, Razvan seeks to end his pain and loss
by facing the dawn. Dark Slayer is a gripping story of two people who
have witnessed and survived unimaginable pain and cruelty.
Ivory and Razvan are both tortured souls and never thought
they'd find love or salvation in any form and as a reader
you can't help but applaud the two as they come to terms
with their lifemate bond and, ultimately, their
unconditional love for each other. I found this book masterfully written -- filled with such
intense emotion and non-stop action that I literally read
it through in one day! Ms. Feehan is a true master of her
craft and long-time fans of the "Dark" series will not be
disappointed at this next installment of the series.
