"Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Rogue Wolf?"
A bite from a stray "Dog" changed Penny Stephens' life
forever. A year ago she was human and werewolves were
myths. Coming to the small town of Garmin, for it's small
population and isolation, the further she is away from
people the better her chances of staying alive. On the run
from the new pack alpha, Penny is about to go into her
heat. Enter Cade Steele, a rogue wolf, who swears allegiance to
no pack, choosing to live alone. Cade promises that he is
wolf enough to fulfill all of Penny's needs. He may share
her bed, but not her heart. Cade wants to claim her as his
mate, but more important, would she accept his claim? This is the first time I have read Mina Carter's work, and
she has a hooked fan now. Ms. Carter caught my attention
from the start with a very relatable, strong female
character in Penny. And the big bad wolf in Cade. All tall,
dark and yummy alpha male that will leave you hot! You can
almost feel the passion leap off the page at you with how
hot the love scenes are. Great read, and I hope you will
check out her other works, I know I plan to!!

It's never easy staying ahead of the pack when hunting for the right man. Penny Stephens is a wolf with problems. She's contended with her wild side all her life, but it's about to catch up with her. She needs a mate who can love the woman and tame the wolf within. Not just any wolf will do. Lone wolf Cade Steele could be the one to fill her needs. He's wolf enough to match her animal instinct, and perhaps enough of a gentleman to satisfy her feminine side. As a mated pair, her bed might become part of his territory, but her heart is another matter. More than love is at stake in this call of the wild. Genre: Romance/Paranormal/Shifter
Length: Novella
