"Wendy Stone just keeps getting better."
Charisma, a siren and the last of her kind, is also an
orphan that's been living on the streets. Her child-like
figure hides a 23 year-old woman's heart that is awakened
with a kiss. Running from Hood, a man who wants to use her
for her gifts, she's left bodies behind and now she's also
running from ASP; The Agency for Supernatural Police. Kadian James, Were-Dragon, only knows that Charisma's song
completes him and he'll do anything in his power to keep
her safe, even going up against ASP. Wendy Stone just keeps getting better and better. The
blending in of characters from her book, Callie's Shadow
was just wonderful. You don't just get the telling of one
love story, but of several. Her characters are gaining
more and more depth with each sequel and her storytelling
is becoming more entrancing. The action scenes are great
and the love scenes are fantastic. I just can't say enough
good things about this book. I highly recommend reading
Callie's Shadow, but it is not needed to understand what's
taking place in Charisma, as it stands by itself
admirably.
