Jewel is an author. Well, she had one book come out and is
contracted for three more. However, she's kind of in a jam.
If she doesn't hurry up and get her draft in for her second
book, her publisher is going to kick her to the curb! She
just can't seem to get her ideas onto paper. Talking to her
cat certainly isn't helping her, that's just going to land
her in the loony bin. Sometimes wishing too hard for
something exciting to happen to get you on the fast track
is a bad idea. When Jewel turns to some journals her uncle
gave her, journals depicting the life of a vampire, she
finds herself drawn into a writer's dream world...until not
only Vincent, the vamp she wrote her book after, but
Alucard, the head of the vampire council both decide they
want her. How is a girl to choose? I love Diary of an Incubus. I love how it reads
(it's like you're standing right next to Jewel and she's
talking to you); I love her wit (sometimes self deprecating
but always hilarious) and the way her life always go to
hell. Diary of an incubus is erotic, enticing and a
fast-paced roller coaster ride of delicious proportions.
Fans of urban fantasy and the paranormal will love every
minute of this story! Poor Jewel...stuck between two
delectable vamps. I wish I was in her position. Lots of hot
sex, clever dialogue and build up to the storyline left me
breathless. I couldn't put Diary of an Incubus down.
It was totally mesmerizing. If you love smokin' hot
romances, vampires and humor, this is definitely the right
book for you. Ms. Kitts is an author I'll be keeping my eye
on from now on.
