"Funny and entertaining"
Abby Hanover has just purchased her dream home in what
seems like a nice, quiet neighborhood. As she moves in,
she starts to notice little things that just do not seem to
add up. The biggest being that her gnomes keep moving
around the house, she soon discovers that they have come
alive. As she meets each of her new neighbors, she finds
that things are not normal in Oak Point Way. Xander Desmith is a magus sent to Oak Point Way to train
Abby as the new Nexus and to guard her from any danger.
First, he needs to convince her that she has magical powers
and that everyone in the neighborhood is there to protect
her and have their own unique power. As Abby is learning how to control her powers and what she
can do, including bringing her gnomes alive, she is finding
herself enjoying her new friends even if they do consist of
a mermaid, a werewolf and a gorgon. She is also falling
for Xander and they have to figure out a way that they can
be together without Abby's magic doing Xander any harm. With the help of her friends and her gnomes, will Abby be
able to fight off who is trying to do her harm? Gnomes of Suburbia is an entertaining, witty story
that makes it a great joy to read. Having a group of
gnomes all with their own personalities and the things that
they do will have you laughing.
