"Dalakis Passion Series with a shocking twist"
Katya Markova is out for vengeance, looking for the one who
killed her parents; she follows leads that bring her to
Transylvania and Dalakis Castle. It has taken her a year
to get to this point, now she just needs to find a way into
the castle and Chase Deveraux is the key in. Chase is a human with a vampire family, after his sister
married into the Dalakis family he became close to the
brothers and their wives that helped raise him. Home for a
visit with his family, he meets a woman who he is drawn to
like no other he has ever met. Despite the guilt she feels knowing she must betray Chase,
Katya is determined to finish her goal and go back home.
But everything becomes complicated when she finds herself
falling in love with him. I love an author who doesn't lay all their cards out on the
table right away, N.J. Walters pulls off a winner. With a
shocking twist to the story that may surprise some
readers. In her continuation of the Dalakis family series
she shows how humans can adapt to accepting vampires as
family and how they will protect that family regardless of
the cost. I was able to read this story even though I have
not read the rest of the series, but I will be looking
forward to reading them now.
