"Suspense, betrayal with an added touch of romance"
Alexa O'Brien is a hunter for hire, the last person she
ever thought she would need to help would be her alpha and
former lover, Raoul. However, when women start dying that
he has a connection to in some way he asks her for help to
prove that he is innocent. As she is trying to solve the case, Alexa is also doing
everything she can to stay away from Arys. Something about
the vampire keeps drawing her towards him even though he is
not the man that she loves and wants. After a night with
Arys, they made a connection that now has them each seeing
through the others' eyes and picking up the others' traits.
She also feels that she has betrayed Shaz, although they
have never even been on a date she knows that he is the one
that she belongs with and is her true mate. While more women are murdered and Raoul is the leading
suspect, time starts to run out for Alexa to find the real
killer. She is also finding answers to questions she has
had about who killed her family. Will she be able to prove
Raoul innocent, or is he guilty? Will she be able to break
the link between her and Arys and save the love she has
found with Shaz? Once Bitten will keep you wondering whom will Alexa
choose. And, did Raoul kill those women? The suspense alone
will keep you interested. The love and trust Shaz has for
Alexa is heartwarming. I believe we will read more of
Alexa, Shaz and Arys, at least I hope.
