Ashley, member of a rock band called Celtic Chicks, has a
secret. She's been yearning to settle down and find love.
However, she doesn't plan on it being with her once in a
while bed buddy, Chris. Chris is definitely sexy and revs
her engine just fine, but she's sure he's the wrong
material for a happily ever after for her. When she
accidentally drags him into trouble with her, she'll soon
find out just what Chris is made of. Chris, lead guitarist for Pure Wildfire, always figured he
and Ashley were just meant to be bed buddies. He has his
own secret...he's a shape-shifter. However, when threats
start rolling in, threats that not only threaten them but
the pack and the band, Chris and Ashley are going to have
to team up and he'll have to tell her the truth...even if it
means losing her forever. Yum! Thunderfire is absolutely delicious. I haven't
read the first three books in the series so I don't really
have them to compare this installment to, but I definitely
loved the action, the romance and the danger. Ashley seems
to be the bad girl looking to go good while Chris is all
around bad boy. I could just feel the sexual tension
radiating between them. Oh, and the sex scenes? Divine
people! I couldn't get enough. Ashley is kind of sweet and
appeared innocent to me. She has no idea what she's getting
into with Chris. Chris won my heart when he accepted
Ashley, even though someone in her family is behind the
danger after them. He didn't walk away from her or send her
packing. Ashley and Chris don't fall in love right away and
I loved the build up to it. The story didn't rush, I wasn't
left hanging and I truly fell in love with the characters.
I'm rushing out now to pick up the first three so I can
read them all!
