"Love a second time around."
Owen's wife is missing and presumed dead. His teenage
daughter is out of control and his ex girlfriend is the
sheriff. If that doesn't drive a man to the brink of
insanity, nothing will. When his daughter starts talking
about seeing the ghost of her mother, Owen turns to Erin
for help. Erin has loved Owen most of her life. She wants
to help him get through his troubled times, but wants to
protect her heart from being broken again. All I can say is wow, this story hooks you early and keeps
you hooked until the very last line. Owen just tugs at
emotional heart strings, his life is in shambles and all he
wants to do is protect his daughter and learn what happened
to his wife. When the unthinkable happens, he turns to the
one woman who has always been there for him. As a woman I had to ask myself how long I would wait for a
man who married another woman. Erin's love transcends
through the pages and makes you want to reach out and smack
Owen in the head for not seeing what is right in front of
his eyes. This is a short read that shouldn't be missed. L. Shannon
has done a fantastic job at spinning a tale that will keep
you guessing until the end. I look forward to reading more
of her works.
